Jared Wakayama
Vice President & Development Manager
Jared Wakayama is Vice President and Development Manager at Kobayashi Group. He brings more than 19 years of experience managing complex construction and development projects across Hawaiʻi, with expertise in commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.
Previously, Wakayama served as a Senior Project Manager at Rider Levett Bucknall, where he managed resort renovations, repositioning, commercial improvements, and residential projects throughout Waikīkī, Ko Olina, Downtown Honolulu, and urban Honolulu. His experience includes work on the Sheraton Waikīkī renovation, the repositioning of Pacific Beach Hotel into ʻAlohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach, Four Seasons Resort Oʻahu at Ko Olina, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union’s headquarters renovation, and Hale Kalele.
Wakayama is a graduate of ʻIolani School and the University of Colorado Boulder.
In his new role, Wakayama will provide leadership across Kobayashi Group’s active and future developments in Hawaiʻi, helping guide project strategy, execution, and delivery.
