Sharon Hanamoto

Sharon Hanamoto is Vice President & Development Manager at Kobayashi Group, where she manages the planning, budgeting, and execution of large-scale residential and mixed-use projects. Her strengths in value engineering, project coordination, and budget management help ensure developments are delivered with care, precision and timeliness.

A graduate of Punahou School, Sharon earned a Bachelor of Business Information Management and Marketing from the University of Auckland. Before joining Kobayashi Group, she held leadership roles at The Howard Hughes Corporation, including Senior Director of Pre-Construction and Construction Manager, and began her career with Group Pacific and Nordic PCL.

In 2025, Sharon was selected as a Pacific Century Fellow, a leadership program that brings together emerging leaders across Hawai'i to engage a yearlong exploration of critical issues and opportunities shaping the islands' future.
