Parkway Village at Kapolei

Parkway Village at Kapolei is a mixed-use affordable rental community offering 401 thoughtfully designed residences for individuals and families earning 30-60% of the Area Median Income. Developed by Kobayashi Group and Āhē Group on City-owned land, the project integrates housing, education, and sustainability in one of Hawaiʻi fastest-growing regions.  

This LIHTC-supported development includes Hawaiʻi first privately developed public charter preschool in partnership with Kamehameha Schools and Parents And Children Together (PACT), along with a second preschool opening in 2025 operated by Keiki O Ka ʻĀina. The neighborhood also features green spaces, recreation lounges, a Freight Farms hydroponic farm for on-site produce, and 641 parking stalls. Each home includes split system A/C and energy-efficient appliances.

Parkway Village reflects Kobayashi Group's commitment to delivering high-quality homes that support families, foster early education, and prioritize long-term wellbeing. It is a replicable model for how public-private partnerships can create thriving and future-focused communities in Hawaiʻi.
